Reflections on The Box Project by Zoe Brand
The Box Project – Reflections
or
How one should trust in their materials and earn their respect.
I fondly recall my first meeting with Jasmine about this particular project. It happened on a rainy afternoon, whilst swigging a cider on the rooftop pub across the road from gaffa gallery. A casual affair that very quickly, to my delight, turned into a polished presentation about the origins of her...

Pollen Pendant Models
Lander’s work broadly encompasses an interest in science and technology and how this informs cultural paradigms. In past work the form of her jewellery pieces have been heavily derived from scientific instrumentation. WHATS IN THE BOX you ask...
Now that all of the Box Project artists are confirmed and finalised the boxes have been sent out. You must be wondering whats in the boxes?
All of the boxes are different, some however will have the same components or very similar.
It will be very interesting to see how different minds interpret the same thing.
Mad about BOXES!
It seems there is another like minded creator of beautiful things in existence obsessed with boxes, making them and filling them… The work of Peter Nencini (London) is truly stunning and well worth a look. Thanks Adnan for sharing this.
Peter Nencini’s Boxes and their contents.
BOXES...
The boxes are packed, wrapped and ready to send, just waiting on a few more confirmations. My, I have never had to carry so much to the post before!
